Nature Conservation Assistance Program

Gold Coast City Council works to conserve the city’s biodiversity and natural assets by protecting, managing and restoring a connected and viable conservation network.
Through its Conservation Partnerships Program (CPP), Council supports landholders to protect wildlife habitat on private property and restore bushland that has been cleared and restored.
The Nature Conservation Assistance Program (NCAP) provides financial assistance to private landholders for on-ground restoration projects that protect and enhance the natural assets of Gold Coast City, and promote ecologically sustainable management of the region’s environmental values.
If you would like to apply for funding to undertake a land restoration project in 2012/13, please read the following information carefully.
Expressions of Interest must be lodged by 5pm 24 February 2012.
For more information, or to discuss your proposal, please contact a Conservation Partnerships Officer on 5582 8344 or email ncap@goldcoast.qld.gov.au.
